Family times all together at Mom and Dad's home every year! Dad hollering at Mom when we got to the door… "Dolly! they're here"! Brent and Jameson as they get excited about tearing open presents!

Andy McClung and Chad were about 5 & 6 yrs old…We were over at some friends, Connie Wurth's, house on Christmas Eve…Their son, Seth Norris, had a large window in his bedroom. Seth, Summer (Seth's sister), Andy, Chad & Josh Kennedy were all looking out the window with their arms on the window sill and chins on their arms —looking to see Santa out working. All of the sudden they started screaming with joy! They saw Santa and his reindeer fly by! Priceless… however they denied it happening as they grew older : ).

Those crazy airplanes look to much like Santa's sleigh as a kid.

When I was little, there was a friend of my dad's that played santa and rode his Harley motorcycle up to the house the week of Christmas. He brought us a toy and stay for cookies. I loved the year that "cool" santa came to visit us :)

I remember once when we were little girls…Janet, you might have been too little, but me and Gail sat at the top of the stairs and watched Daddy put together our little toys. He didn't know he was being watched. He thought we were "fast alseep" in bed. Mother was busy organizing everything under the tree. We were a little confused about Santa after that, but somehow always believed there was a Santa. There is, isn't there?
And then, all the Christmas times at Mothers house after all three of us were married. It's just not Christmas unless we are all together. Mother and Daddy's "three little girls". We have been so blessed all these years.
I love my Mother, I miss my Daddy and I adore my two sisters. Merry Christmas to all my family.
Janet, Robert, Andy and Chad. Thanks for opening your Oasis and letting our families all come so we can once again be together the way we always have been.
    Your Sister,
    Donna

Andy that is awesome. Wish all of you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year! Love you guys. On xmas we would get in the bed really late and then Ken would get everybody up like 2 or 3 in the morning. I miss everybody not coming to the house every Xmas eve to spend the night. It was the good old times.

Thanks Pamela! Sorry for the delay in the response. I haven't checked comments that much since Christmas. Hope you had a great one and New Year too!

Lil bit of exagerration…but nearly ran my car into a tree when someone said that Santa wasn't real. Favorite memory: Mom, Dad, all 7 kids in a remote poor coal mining village around a beautiful tree my bro. & I brought from the woods – surrounded by laughter, songs, home made music; a close-nit family poor but rich.

As a kid, I always used to wake up super early and run to the Christmas tree to see what Santa brought. I would celebrate and play with everything then pass out right next to the tree. Later, I would wake up and do it all over again! I am pretty sure that is the reason I still wake up very early on Christmas day.
