Carol and I invite you to our Pastors Retreat scheduled for June 27, 28, 29 & 30th, 2010. This retreat will be held at Oasis Retreat Center in Franklin KY.

Our time together will begin as I minister in the 5:00 Sunday night service at Oasis. Dinner following. We will spend time together Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday with dismissal after breakfast on Wednesday.

Having heard from a few of you as to some challenges you are facing we have chosen two specific issues of concern as topics for discussion at this retreat.

Monday, June 28th:
The Economy – Affects on the church and us personally

Tuesday, June 29th:
Suicide – Detection~Prevention~Counseling~Intervention
by Dr. Ron Hamm, Pastor / Counselor

Balancing these serious discussions will be wonderful times of fun and fellowship as we enjoy one another’s company over the beautiful and delicious meals provided for us by the chef’s at Oasis!

Carol and Janet are planning some special time for the ladies and there will be time for strolling the lush grounds or sitting together in rocking chairs under the pavilion watching the sunset.

The Pastors Retreats hosted by Rev. L.H. & Carol Hardwick in 2009 was such a blessing and a time of refreshing to all who attended. We reconnected with old friends and met new friends. It was a time we as Pastors and Pastors wives shared our experiences and ideas as we gleaned from the wisdom and knowledge of others.

It is the Hardwick’s desire for Pastors to fellowship together at least three (3) or four (4) times each year. These retreats will be held at different locations throughout the year.

Rev. L. H. & Carol Hardwick invite you to the next Pastors Retreat scheduled for June 27, 28, 29 & 30th, 2010. This retreat will be held at Oasis Retreat Center in Franklin KY. Our time together will begin with Pastor Hardwick preaching in a 5:00 Sunday night service at Oasis. Dinner following. The retreat rates are $235.00 per couple for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, June 27-30, 2010. Lodging, meals, services & sessions are included.

The retreat rates for local Pastors that will not need overnight lodging is $115.00. This includes services, sessions & meals.

Lately we have been wanting to upgrade the furniture in the dining hall. So Thursday Janet posted on her personal Facebook page that we were going to be looking for some new furniture, and if anyone had some they were willing to sell to send us a picture to consider buying it. She posted it at 7:04 am and around 9:30 am we received a phone call from someone telling us that we have been on their minds, and that they wanted to donate the brand new furniture we asked for to Oasis. All we had to do was go pick out what we wanted!

After a day of shopping we ended up buying two identical sets from Furniture Warehouse. While there we found out that the owners and their family are good Christian people. They were very friendly and we enjoyed doing business with them.

Below is an image of the new furniture and the evidence of God’s amazing miracles. He is always there for us in all we do.

This past weekend was very exciting. We hosted a 3 day youth retreat for a local church. It was great hearing all the chatter in the dining hall. They used and connected us with Mobile Laser Pursuit. They set up and operate laser tag parties on location for people. The youth had a blast!

To help first time groups staying at Oasis we added 5 new directional signs.
