What a wonderful, peaceful and inspiring retreat facility. I have ministered and attended several retreats across the country and by far Oasis Christian Retreat Center is the best. You and your family take care of every single detail – you have made an “art form” of hospitality. From the moment I (and the other women) walked onto the property we felt “welcomed” and special. We could also feel the presence of the Lord. Thank you Oasis for such a refreshing and inspiring time. By far the most magnificent retreat complete with “personal touch hospitality”. It was my privilege to be present at the couples retreat hosted by another church. It was a great pleasure to meet the staff and owners of Oasis Retreat Center. Such a refreshing time in the Lord! You made our retreat one of the best experiences that we have had. You made us feel so welcome and secure knowing that whatever we needed you were there to take care of it. Our services were awesome, and it was such a restful time knowing that you guys had taken care of everything for us. I have a few places that I have been in my life that creates that peaceful feeling of
being at home. Yall’s place is one of them. It reminds me of my Grandma’s front
porch swing in Harlan, Kentucky. The peaceful home where my mind wanders
back to whenever I have a hectic day. I have only been to yall’s facility 2 times
now and of course each time I have come back to Nashville with another good
uplifting memory to wander back to whenever I need to. Thank you so much for
your ongoing services, home cooked meals, sweet attentive folks, comfy
beds and amazing country settings.

I just want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I could see the love of Jesus in all of your works that you provided for us. I think my favorite places there was the tree by the pond. It told a story to me, really 2 stories. 1) It reminded me of the tree planted by the water, you could even see some of the roots in the water. 2) As the tree was bent over just touching the water, It reminded me of the woman in the Bible that was in the crowd and she just wanted to touch the hem of Jesus’s robe!! It was just beautiful seeing all the beauty that God had created there and what a great job you all have done to keep it up and made it special for us all to share w/ you all. I would love to be able to come back again with my church family and aslo have a family reunion if someday. You all were so sweet and giving, I couldn’t ask for a more pampering place to be, other than HEAVEN. Thank you again so, so much. May you all be blessed richly.

I did not want to leave either. One of the special places to me is your chapel. I feel God’s Spirit so strong in the chapel, and it brings back wonderful memories of my little church in Michigan that I attended for several years.

This was the perfect place to hold our first annual women’s retreat this weekend. We all were bathed in God’s love and his servants, the McClung family, showed it to us again and again. I have catered for 25 years and your service was impeccable, and the food unbelievable. We all felt the closeness to God that we needed this weekend and hope to come again. You made our first retreat beautiful, and we wonder if there could ever be a place better. You have left no room for improvement in our experience. May God bless you and your retreat center, and your beautiful family. We just hope to come a little earlier next year so we can rock more.
We had the most fantastic time at Oasis. This was our fifth retreat, and it was by far the best place we have been. We felt pampered! It was so nice. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place and thank you for your service.

I recently attended a Deacon /Yokefellow retreat at your facility and was quite pleased. You truly are providing a Christian environment for people to enjoy. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all wonderful. I enjoyed the accommodations as it provided the brothers an opportunity to bond and get to know each other better. Thanks and God bless

I attended the deacon/yolkfellow retreat last weekend. It was fantastic. You and your family made it one of the most enjoyable experiences ever. The accommodations, friendliness, and cooperation of everyone there were great. The food was excellent and the service commendable. Thank you for providing an Oasis for our Deacon/ Yoke fellow retreat. I have led and organized retreats all over the state of Kentucky and this is by far the best retreat center I have ever attended. Your charm, personalities and your ministry are exceptional. This is the best kept secret around this area. Part of me does not want the word to get our about what a fantastic place The Oasis is. However we will let all our friends know.

I was truly impressed with your facilities. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. You food was restaurant quality which I was not expecting. I loved hearing about the history of how Christ led your family in opening and operating this Christ Center Facility. I pray that God will bless you more than you had every expected. I pray that it will be so great that everyone including your family would know that it was God’s doing and not man.
I look forward to returning on February 12 which our marriage ministry team has scheduled a valentine dinner there on that date. I will help to spread the world about your facility to other.

I would recommend your facility to anyone. The bunkhouse was much nicer than I expected. The bunk beds were very sturdy and comfortable. The bathroom area was very clean and spacious. The chapel and dining hall were very comfortable, and your staff did a good job meeting the needs of our group. The food, as you note, is not camp food, but is restaurant quality.
I want to make a special mention of your game room, which was outstanding, both in terms of the set-up and the activities offered. I wish we could’ve been there at a warmer time of year, as I can’t speak much to the outdoor activities.
I’m not aware of any similar local facilities, but if there are any, they certainly can’t be nicer than yours. Thanks again!
It was fantastic! God truly blessed our group there. We could tell that your family is Christ centered and provided excellent service for everyone there. We will be back and we will definitely tell our Christian community about this beautiful place!
I attended a two day retreat for the Deacons and Yokefellows from Woodburn Baptist CHURCH. This place is awesome. I would highly recommend it to any Church, wedding, etc.
No complaints from me. The food and staff is world class.
I would like to say that my time at the retreat that I attended was great. They are very kind and loving people there. They are also wonderful cooks. What a blessing it was to have been there.

Never knew this place existed, what a blessing to have a place to hold retreats in our area. An amazing hidden treasure that is being used in a mighty way to minister to those who are “thirsty in a dry in weary land”….thanks for such amazing hospitality!
I praise our Mighty, Mighty Lord for the precious & glorious time I had with ALL the ladies at our women’s retreat, At His Feet. Can I tell you, we came to His precious feet & found rest, renewal, healing, restoration, hope, help & just got totally drenched in His Presences. What an awesome weekend; what wonderful sisters in Jesus I was honored to fellowship with, AND what a wonderful retreat center, The Oasis Christian Center & Retreat & what a Godly precious family who operates and owns the Oasis and accommodates, with a servants heart, those who use the retreat. WOW WOW WOW TO ALL OF IT!

Our Sunday School Class enjoyed our Christmas Banquet very much. The food was great, the facilities were great and the people were very friendly . Recommend it to anyone.

The Immanuel Nashville women LOVED our time together at Oasis from Nov 11-13. Your property provided the perfect accommodations. We had such a great time enjoying each other and our time with the Lord. Everyone was complimentary of the beautiful and clean facilities AND the delicious food. Our time together was sweet! I have had the honor of visiting a couple of times. Every time I am there, I can feel the sweet Spirit of the Lord! I love the peace and serenity of Oasis. Janet, you and your family know how to make everyone feel special and very loved. When it comes time to pack up and get back to reality, I don’t want to leave. Sometimes, when work gets really stressful, I shut my eyes and re-live some of my best moment there and that gets me through my day! Oasis of Love, just like the song! Our church is in the process of returning for a church retreat.
We had such an AMAZING time at the Oasis…..If you have not been you should go ASAP….They know how to do things 1st class….I just can’t say enough about this place!
I had an amazing time at Oasis. It was a time of renewal for me. Also, I just felt such a refreshing from the Lord. I think it is an amazing atmosphere. There is such an anointing on the property. Janet & Robert are such wonderful hostess & host. Their sons are nice, too!!! I want CRC to have a women’s retreat there at some point!!! It is an awesome place.
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place. So peaceful and beautiful. God has great and mighty plans for Oasis. Thanks for your obedience Robert and Janet and your family.
I had the privilege of staying at Oasis during the Men’s Retreat in 2009. We had a blessed time in the Lord! I just cannot say enough about the accommodations there. Everything was so beautiful, and the food, wow! I wish I was able to make it to the retreat this year, but my work had other plans for me. Robert and Janet, you two are truly blessings to God’s Kingdom, and what you do for others is simply awesome! Every time someone mentions Oasis, I just have to tell them of the great things God is doing there. God bless, and Keep on being the BEST!
We had a wonderful time of fellowship at Oasis! We went there for a Ladies Meeting, and the food was delicious, the rooms clean and comfortable! The chapel is so beautiful, very quaint and sweet! love the Oasis Retreat Center! Can’t wait til next trip! Hospitality was grand! Love you Robert and Janet & family!
